***i mean 32bit*** typo

Okay so i have both of them. im getting my new computer today and was wondering which one to install. my processor can do both of these and was just wanting to know the differences and which one runs better.

heres my computer specs

Amd x2 3.10Ghz phenom black edition
320gb HDD
2GB DDR3 1333 RAM
HIS ATI HD4350
mother board is a gigabyte one

also im thinking of dual booting this with windows 7 64 bit because my family also use the computer and they would have ni idea what to do in linux

As you are getting a 64bit system why would you not want to take full advantage and install a system which can use all 64bits?

I am running a 64bit laptop with Ubuntu which works just great.
