No video in webcam

Hi there,

I have some troubles to use my cam in visio with someone.

Skype beta 2.1.0.81: I can't choose a cam. It's empty

Cheese: i can see myself

Empathy 2.29.90: when i try to do a video call, i see myelf but the person doesn't get the invitation.

Emesene 1.5: it asks to install python-libmimic. I did it and when i tried to do a video call, the person gets invitation..connecting..i see my cam and it stops.

Pidgin 2.6.6: we can't clic on nor video nor audio nor video/audio call

I use specific ppa:
http://ppa.launchpad.net/telepathy/ppa/ubuntu karmic main
http://ppa.launchpad.net/pidgin-developers/ppa/ubuntu karmic main

I'm on Karmic amd64 and my cam is Hercules Deluxe

Does anyone can use his webcam in video call?

On skype, i can see the person but he can not see me.
