I want to try ubuntu along with my windows xp, dual boot, and is it easy to uninstall if i dont like it and will my partitions be the same as before?

The answer is yes if you use a stable release installed with Wubi inside of Windows... maybe, with a real dual boot, if your're the careful type.

Yeah I would just delete the partitions used for Ubuntu if you wanted to get rid of it and then just resize the windows partition back up.

You can use Gparted, its easiest to do it during installation (choose manually select partitions) or if your not comfortable doing that you can have it install side by side and it will automatically resize it for you. You can also do it in windows first through the control panel there's an app for that.
