So i have Ubuntu 9.10 hardy, i also have installed pyneighborhood.

So basically my problem is I have a network hard drive and ubuntu isn't able to automatically detect it . I'd like to be able to find it under "places" just like my ipod or whatever.

Anyway thanks to anybody who helps

(i have searched and didn't find anything explaining this problem in detail)

Network mounts require a /etc/fstab entry.
