I upgraded to 9.10 and after overcoming some graphic driver problems I now get an error when logining in:
"Unable to load a failsafe session
Unable to determine failsafe session name. Possible causes: xconfd isn't running (D-Bus setup problem); environment variable $XDG_CONFIG_DIRS is set incorrectly (must include "/etc"), or xfce4-session is installed incorrectly."
I can login as root no problems. I've tried reinstalling xfce4, xubuntu-desktop & dbus and none worked.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Edd
