Hello!

I have an old laptop, on which I want to Install kubuntu 6.06.1

So, I downloaded kubuntu-6.06.1-dvd-i386.iso

Unfortunately, for some strange reason the file has been corrupted. Fortunately, the corruption is limited to several bytes.

I know this because I downloaded the torrent and "checked" the file hashes. A total of 5 "pieces" are missing.

Unfortunately, there is no one to seed. None! I am the only guy sharing 99.8%.

Could anybody please share this DVD? I just need to download 5 MB (1 MB for each piece).

I have run out of my monthly quota of internet, so please please somebody help me!

6.06 lost its support long ago. I suggest you try 8.04 or newer.

Here is a link to an iso mirror: http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/releases/kubuntu/dapper/
Dunno about the torrent.

But I agree w/ oldos2er, might want to use a newer version. Or a light variant of Ubuntu/Linux.
