My training company trains us using tomcat in windows Xp.
But i use Ubuntu at home. I tried installing tomcat on Ubuntu 9.10 and it was successfully done but i didnt see any menu entries in "Applications" as it appears in Windows Xp. I tried using it directly by opening http://localhost:8080 and when i clicked on manager-app it asked for password and username. When i typed in the username and password present in the "/etc/tomcat6/tomcat-users.xml" file it didnt do anything and kept showing this screen.
