I recently got a random idea to make an APT-GET for Windows. I found one, but I think now I'd like to make something like Aptitude or Synaptic.

Would any Windows users download and use this if there's already an APT-GET for Windows?

I would, if it was as good as Ubuntu's. The one that's floating around already, is retarded.

It would be awesome, so long as somebody comes out with a nice big and well maintained repository of all the best open source apps for everything.

I havn't tried this win-get yet.

Windows has apt-get:

http://windows-get.sourceforge.net/

And to be honest, it should stay gui-less if it has no gui.
