Was wondering if anyone has developed profile transfer utilities for Firefox and Thunderbird?
By this I am thinking of a utility that could be run on a Windows computer USB drive that would find and transfer profile folders and files to the USB drive. Then the USB drive could be plugged into a Ubuntu system where again a program on the drive would make any necessary file changes and transfer the configuration files to the Ubuntu machine.
Moving from other operating systems to Ubuntu Linux would be much easier when necessary profiles could be moved to a system that the new user is often not that experienced with.
Is there such an item out there?
