View Full Version : [ubuntu] Error: "Failed to contact configuration server"

Attempting clean install of ubuntu 9.10 using Flash drive. received the above error message. Have been away for almost a year and have forgotten much of what I thought I had learned. I tried a second download, despite "no errors". Can someone help this old newbie?

SOVLED
I tried other computers and concluded that the problem was with the flash drive. Using a different flash drive everything worked as advertised.
