So, I had a dual boot environment with Ubuntu and Windows. Somehow (I blame Windows) the entire filesytem on my Ubuntu partition got irreparably corrupted. The thing is, I can't do a simple Ubuntu re-install from a live disk because the the whole disk is encrypted (it's a work thing) and I have to boot from the hard drive to decrypt it. If I installed from a Live CD GRUB would overwrite the decryption loader on the hard drive and I'd lose my Windows and all my documents. So what I need is a way to boot from the hard drive, get past the decryption loader then fix the Ubuntu.

Any ideas?
