WINE in Kubuntu: is it the same as Gnome?

Hi -

I just used Wine to successfully install and run Dreamweaver 8 on my Ubuntu (Gnome) desktop.

Now, I'm trying to do the exact same in Kubuntu (KDE) and it's not working.

Are there extra steps or configurations to set in order to get Wine working in KDE?

You install it the same but I had issues with the directory tool. Other than that, it works exactly the same.

What do you mean "issues with the directory tool" ?

I'm trying to install Dreamweaver 8. It was simple as cake in Gnome, but in Kubuntu it won't run long enough to enter the serial number. Do you know, is this something in the directory tool that I need to address?
