bandwidth stats per hosted web site

hi all,

Im totally new in linux.
I have installed ubuntu server 9.1
installed stuff to have hosting work (lamb or lamp...)
Im able to see the "it works" web site
I will setup FTP server for users to update their web pages.

but I want do be able to know the monthly bandwidth usage of each of the web site im hosting.

no gui necessary. just a file will be fine...

is it possible ?

please...
there is no way with ubuntu to generate simple reports like this:

---------------------------------------------------------
bandwidth stats for month of january 2010
www.site1.com (http://www.site1.com) 5gb
www.site2.com (http://www.site2.com) 400 mb
www.site3.com (http://www.site3.com) 3.3 gb
---------------------------------------------------------

I don't mind having to do a bit of coding if necessary....

I found awstats....

I will try to install that.

it does lot more that what I want...

any other easy to install and that generate stats per web sites (im hosting multiple web sites...)

anyone have a tutorial on how to install it.
I found one dated of 2004...

anything more recent ?
