Has anyone tried to run Hildon desktop environment on a regular PC? I am considering adding Hildon into my Gnome Karmic install. PC details are listed in my signature.
Thanks

No I was trying to try the package hildon-desktop in an Ubuntu GNU/Linux 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) Live-CD, but when I log-out, GDM doesn't offer a Hildon desktop option (only failsafe, Gnome and Xterm).

I've tried with the instructions given by edrex in this thread to create an Xsession for hildon:

But only reached to have "Hildon" option in GDM login screen. Doesn't load the desktop.
