Hi,
please take a look on the attached screenshot. You can see many icon sizes on the gnome-panel ("switch" icon is taken as a standard). It looks quite ugly, don't you think? The question is: "How am I supposed to set the same size for all the icons on panel?".

I have tried .gtkrc-2.0 and set all icon sizes to 16x16 but it didn't work. There is always some mix of 16x16 and 24x24 (just a guess).

(Panel is oversized for better visibility)

Resize your panel to 22 or 24. In gnome, icon size is related to the panel size. You may also try cairo dock to replace the panel.

Thank you for your response.

However set panel height to 22 or 24 px doesn't solve anything. And 22 px can be used only with smaller fonts (8pt).

There must be some way to change icon size to 16 px. Launchers on screenshot are 24 (i think) so is Tomboy and it looks terrible. Main menu icon is also too big.

Don't tell me that it can't be done in Gnome, after so many years of development :))
