Hey Guys,
Ok so, What firewall and antivirus software do you use and recommend?

Here is mine:

Kubuntu / Ubuntu
Firewall: Default Firewall. ShieldsUP (https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2), said my default firewall are all close ports and full Stealth.
Anti-Virus: ClamAV and KlamAV. Clamav-freshclam and Clamav-daemon
Web Browser: Firefox, Web of Trust (mywot.com) (http://www.mywot.com/) and Adblock Puls.

iMac / MacBook Pro
Firewall: Apple/Mac Firewall built-in and Intego NetBarrier.
Anti-Virus: Intego VirusBarier and ClaxXav.
Web Browser: Firefox, Google Chrome, Web of Trust (mywot.com) (http://www.mywot.com/) and Adblock Puls.

Windows 7
Firewall: Windows Firewall.
Anti-Virus: Microsoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes and SUPERAntiSpyware.
Web Browser: Firefox, Google Chrome, Web of Trust(mywot.com) (http://www.mywot.com/) and Adblock Puls.

Windows 7 Professional:

Firewall: Windows Firewall, block all ports/incoming with manual exceptions.
AV: none
other security: Browser-based security options like NoScript, AdBlock.


Windows XP Home:

Firewall: Windows firewall, block all ports/inc. with manual exceptions.
AV: Avast!
other: same browser-based.

Firewall; (dont remember what firewall i am using currently, my power supply is broken havent used ubuntu for a few weeks)

I have a box running IPCop with a firewall and content filter to start.

Then the line goes into my Linksys wireless modem, which has its firewall too

Then each Ubuntu installation has its firewall, and most browsers use Ad Block Plus.

Currently my Windows 7 has
Microsoft Security Essentials
Avast antivirus
AdAware
and I try and keep it patched up-to-date. The problem is I don't use it every time so when I do want to use it I need to set aside like and hour or so for all of the downloads/updates/definitions to get situated!

Windows XP is going to be removed from the laptop and replaced in a virtual machine to be run via Linux.

I never use MSE it has a nasty habit of borking up USB drive operations for me. Sure I could of disabled its real time protection each time I wanted to transfer or run something from a USB drive...but why should I when I can just use avast and threatfire.

No firewall i just don't run any services
No AV i just don't run random binaries and never browse as a user who can modify existing ones.
