View Full Version : [xubuntu] Samsung Jack (Blackjack 3)

I have a Samsung Jack, which is a Samsung BlackJack 3. In the last 2 months, I started having major problems with MEdiaNet, which is the AT & T internet provider. From tech support, I found out there is an upgrade from the Windows Mobile 6.1 currently on my phone to Windows Mobile 6.5. Through my Synaptic Program Manager, I found and installed "wine." I got the error message "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way." Then, also through my Synaptic Program Manager, I found an upgraded "wine 1.2." Still I got the same error message "This application .."
Does anyone have a fix for this?
Or, does Ubuntu have a system which can be used for cell phones? i.e. an ubuntu linux-based system instead of a Microsoft Windows based system. As well as Ubuntu has worked for my laptop, I know it would work much better.
Ubuntu Mobile - it has a great ring to it!
