Compaq Presario C500 US. I'd been dual-booting 9.10 with the OEM Vista. Ubuntu worked fine. Decided to bite the bullet and did a dump-Vista clean CD install of 8.10 with subsequent upgrades to 9.04 and 9.10. Everything checks out just fine except-
Can't load Wine from www.winehq.org/download/deb
Can't find the Terminal
Can't find Add/Remove Programs.
The 9.10 and Wine had worked just fine in the previous install with Design Workshop Lite, ArcSoft PhotoStudio, etc.
I've searched for these items everywhere I can imagine. I'm stumped.
OK, FOUND A/R AND TERMINAL. BUT NOW CAN'T INSTALL ADOBE FLASH 6 Mar 23:43
