Hello,

Just burned a 9.10 cd to install on my dell m600. Currently running gentoo on it and wish/ed to install a clean OS. Visop starts, detects USB / IDE / PS2 - starting, one moment please . . . . and that's as far as I get (I've let it sit for up 45 minutes). Hit the enter key and nothing.

Hit ctrl/alt/del and get:
Error: Reboot: KernelLoader.c : load (139)
file '/system/fonts/arial-bld-12.bmp' could not be found

Shutting down, please wait . . .
Error: Reboot: KernelFilesystem.c : KernelFilesystemUmount (721)
unable to locate mount point entry

Am I trying to push too much onto the laptop? / bad burn job? / or any idea? Last time I had ubuntu on it was around the bushy kernal.

Thanks in advance.

Did another cd burn & the cd started the install. Note: this is only the first step in the process, should it go south at any point, I will post the issue.

Did another burn - now the cd is booting properly. Will advise of any adverse issues.
