I have decided to give Ubuntu another go.

I am firstly trying to check the hash.

I don't know exactly how to run the md5sum command from within the directory. Do I use the dos prompt in Windows XP Accessories? Even then the Ubuntu ISO file is shown as a zipped file in My Documents/Downloads.

How to I get to run the specified command within the file?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.
