anyone know how to configure qjoypad on ubuntu 9.10?

this has been solved. I figured how to configure it finally. you map the controller buttons or axis to the mouse/keyboard. I was trying to do it the other way around for some reason in my head. So it works perfect. I can use my controller now as a mouse.
