I have created a bootable usb stick using unetbootin which runs ok on the pc eee (which has minute ram) but I am unable to connect to the internet via my wireless netgear router I don`t know if the settings are correct.I have very little knowledge of ubuntu.The netbook has ms xp installed but this is extremely limited.Is there any advice for an old codger to get this running I would really like to get to grips with ubuntu but I am getting a little despondent,also I don`t know if I should open a new thread for this:- Is there any way to get the usb stick to boot up on startup without having to enter the bios and setting the boot device every time?
