They are about to come out with a remake of Clash of the Titans (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0800320/). It will be released on April 2.

I was a pretty big fan of the original 1981 flick. I have it on DVD. This new movie looks pretty amazing. I can't wait to see it. Liam Neeson will make an awesome Zeus.

It looks like the effects do justice to Harry Housen's old masterpiece.

I'll miss Burgess Meredith, though.

Yes, the loss of Burgess Meredith will be saddening, I think this movie will be sheer awesome. They will get to do some of the things they couldn't back in 1981. Like you, I am a fan of the original, and also have it on DVD.

Not to be picky, but *Ray Harryhausen.

Well, feel free to go back to 1996 and resurrect him ;-)

I'm stoked for this movie. We don't have enough Greek Mythology-based films out there, and Clash of the Titans is a great one. Troy failed miserably, but I'm hoping this will restore my faith in cinematography with respect to mythology-based films.

Also, if the gods aren't playing chess, I'll be happy.

I didn't know they were re-making that!!! I will have to call and tell my dad - we loved that movie. I wonder if the new one will have the cute little robotic owl guy.....he was my favorite character!

Not to be picky, but *Ray Harryhausen.Thanks. I knew I probably had it wrong. :)

Yeah, I think it will at least begin in 3D. I actually hate 3D. Until they can do it without glasses, it's kind of annoying, especially for people who wear glasses.

God I loved the original Clash when I was a kid. I watched it over and over again and wore out the video, and used to know it word for word!

I'm kinda glad they're doing a remake, but it won't be the same for me personally. Still, it looks very sexy and Hi-Def, which is how Hollywood sells to the youth nowadays. I did see LeTerrier's version of the Hulk and thought it was absolutely brilliant though, so I will be watching this when it appears on DVD.
