I've been living in Southern Illinois for a couple of years now for college. The other day, a couple friends and I happened to be driving past a Dairy King (not queen) restaurant and noticed the sign had a penguin on it strikingly simmalar to tux!
Check it out here. (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=breese,+il&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=43.578243,93.076172&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Breese,+Clinton,+Illinois&ll=38.610734,-89.526526&spn=0.005273,0.011362&z=17&layer=c&cbll=38.61074,-89.526643&panoid=ckNadeisM2xbfw9gIwLV_A&cbp=12,53.59,,1,-1.25)
I can get a good picture myself next time I drive through, but i thought that was rather interesting.

Penguin is Penguin even in Africa.

The picture is too blurry to tell.

But there are hundreds of different versions of Tux. So any cartoon penguin is bound to resemble him. I don't think it's fair for Tux to own the market on all cartoon penguins. Chilly Willy was around before Tux was. ;)

It's... a miracle! A manifestation of our Mighty Tux!
Blessed are those who can lay their eyes on him for he commands the ONLY true server of heaven.

Meh, that one has plenty of differences. It's not like they took the tux logo and just edited his feet and left everything else the same, which I have actually seen.

I drove past it again a couple days ago and took a picture.

It's not the perfect knockoff that I thought it was, but close enough!

hmm... so you had a cd... and a typed piece of paper in the car while taking the picture. I should be in csi lol. :lolflag: [backontopic] still looks like tux to me... a bit... but then again, its easy for things to look like tux.
