Folder View Screenlet not Working as Expected

I want to try out the screenlet called Folder View:

I have downloaded and installed it fine. However, when I double-click on it (or use the Start/Stop button) there is a momentary flash and then nothing interesting. I have checked on the widget layer and on all desktops and I have tried various settings in Options all to no avail.

How can I get this running?

I don't if this helps but I was having all sorts of issues with about 5 - 6 different Screenlets (Not Folder view) after I updated to Screenlet 0.1.6! I went back to 0.1.2. I don't have the issues??

Thanks. This was from back when I was running 8.10, and I'm now running 10.04. Maybe I'll try this screenlet again.
