Question About KDE Desktop on Ubuntu

I know you can get the kubuntu desktop on ubuntu with the code




sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop

I've done it b4 on my desktop w/ a full installation of ubuntu, but I want to do it on my laptop, but it's dual booted with windows 7, so I was wondering if it would be safe to do this and it wont ruin the partition

It won't affect your partitioning, KDE is just another software package. Go for it.
