When I use firefox 3.5.8 in my hp compaq 6720 s laptop (dual boot vista/karmic koala), certain web pages are shown "bad". I mean, certain words put on others or letters from some buttons mixing with other of other buttons, i attached a screenshot to show the problem.

The screen is a 15" one and resolution 1280 X 800 (16:10), this problem desn't occur with other browsers as epiphany.

Is there a way to fix it, in order to see correctly the pages?, perhaps some settings in firefox?

Thanks in advance

Bump?

Is it something to do with typography?.

I have try with option "let pages to select their own typography" and the result is the same (menu buttons mixing, text of buttons mixing with other text).

I have the default coded characters in western iso 8859-1. Is it correct?.

Is this a bad renderization of firefox in certain pages?

Any idea is welcomed.

well, I have solved the problem.

It was a question related to the minimum size of letters in preferences of firefox, content tab, advanced default typography.

I had to put minimum letter size to 11, and now the text of all buttons of web pages are shown correctly, not mixing.

Option let web pages to select its own typography is ticked.
