Notices grub lists Lucid as "Ubuntu, with Linux" last time I checked I didn't think Ubuntu could be run without Linux. Is that something the developers would like to change?

Is there a Ubuntu OS Kernel in the works? Or is it just a change made by the grub developers.

I guess you could run it with the HURD....

Yeah Canonical is going to create a new kernel from scratch when they barely contribute to other projects. /sarcasm

Doubtful the FSF doesn't seem to be very Buntu-centric these days, running Ubuntu with HURD would probably be a real gnewsense.

Debian, the Ubuntu mother-distro, can be used with FreeBSD instead of Linux.

Yeah Stallman would probably want to change it to GNUbuntu.

Windows should read:

"Fat *******."

Yes, I intended to have those asterisks there.
