Hi all,
Whenever I open a new window or application, the window placement seems to get done twice. It gets placed once, and then moved to another spot on the screen. This happens fairly quickly, but is definitely noticeable every single time.
This happens with desktop effects on and off, as well as with "place windows" on and off when using compiz effects.
It's annoying because it often causes the new window to lose focus and I have to navigate to it in some other way.
Any ideas? Is there another place I can check settings, perhaps specific to gnome?
