Wow, first bugfix release for KDE 4.4 is already out. Good one, KDE devs!

Krunner feels a lot faster now.

Yes. I know. I'm updating Arch as we speak. It was like 356MB of updates and I was like wtf? KDE 4.4.1? It just came out.

Well the bugfix releases come once a month, and it's been a month since the 4.4 release, so I don't think it's that much of a surprise.

Time flies when you're having fun I guess.

or in this case time flies when there isn't a glaring bug that bothers you for a month, and you can just use the machine, you know?

Well, krunner was kind of bothering me actually. I had a few times where it froze up and I'd have to kill it and restart it to do a lot of things (like lock the screen).

Seems ok so far!

I'm not gonna download 4.4 just yet. I don't want to fear Plasma Desktop won't load due to "segmentation fault" all over again, or that the menu will be blank. I'll give it a go say in 4.4.4....

mines worse.
6 X 2 GB of updates (to lucid)
over a 220kb/s internet.
I gave up after a while and the next day, I hauled the desktop and my home laptop, and my (karmic) laptop to work and downloaded 12GB throughout the day....(Only upgrading the home laptop and the desktop, not the work one)
