Oh snap. But it's still incomplete. gogogo ReactOS dev-team.

Hmm. Interesting. I haven't tried it in VirtualBox in over a year, maybe 2. Let me see what has changed.

You'll want a trunk build (http://reactos.org/getbuilds/), not the "stable" 0.3.11 version.

rel = release
dbg = debug

Unfortunatetly, the goals are good, the execution is ok, the timeline makes this project almost worthless imho.

0.4.0 01/2010 Link UI effort: New explorer, second stage UI improvements, overall look&feel improvements

I mean, there's a LOT needed before dealing with the UI

The dev-team has stated many times that the roadmap is useless, and will not be updated nor taken down.

Alright. I was downloading the stable. Thanks. xD

EDIT: I wonder if I can use patch the ux files to theme it. Hmmm.

DOUBLE EDIT: I'm in /svn/reactos/trunk/reactos/ and I don't see an .iso anywhere. O_o

TRIPLE EDIT: Found it under "Browse all builds" under BuildBot.

I feel dumb.

If you know how to do what you're doing, you're probably not dumb. ;)

I remember looking at ReatOS as an alternative OS after XP died on my computer, before I found Linux that is.

Reckon it'll ever beat just using a Linux distro and Wine? As opposed to reverse engineering Windows XP? ;)
