Hi my pc config is as follows...
AMD Athlon II x 64 core2duo
Nvidia 9500 gt
Asus M2N4SLI
2 x 500 GB hard Drives
2 GB DDR2 RAM
BENQ 19 inch (1366 x 768 @ 60 Hz)
I did a fresh install of karmic on my system and installed the nvidia 185 driver through restricted drivers..installed compiz ..then i noticed that the wobbly windows effect was getting distorted when i was moving windows around.so i turned off the effect..and guess waht the windows were still getting distorted when i was moving them around..so i downloaded the 190.54 drivers from the nvidia site..disabled my x-server and installed them the nvida way..checked my restricted drivers and i was no longer using those..so i started compiz again and the problem still persists...can anyone please help me with this

ok ... is there any way to force 1440 x 900 @ 60 Hz resolution on a screen that natively supports 1368 x 768...and will it solve my problem with the choppy effects on compiz???
