Hello, i am planning to build a 3d game and i am wondering, does anyone have any experience with making 3d games using Linux... I cant seem to find a decent working game engine to use that includes a fully functional graphical editor i have found many engines without editors for linux but all i can find that include an editor all seem to be for windows. does anyone have any suggestions?

I think there's actually quite a few. Blender is the first that jumps to mind.

Check out Youtube for some videos. Here's one:

well currently i have Blender, Misfit model 3D, and Wings3D polygon mesh modeller, I havent quite figured out Misfit (but am going to start lerning to use it soon enough) i havent bothered trying to learn Wings3D and as for Blender, it doesnt seem to work to well in terms of developing a game, i cant quite figure out how to do much of anything in it... also it seems to freeze when i quit running the game (not that there is anything there to run just a square)
