Hello, i own a

Intel X25-V G2 Postville 40 GB SDD.

I would like to install Vista c:\ + Ubuntu "/" on it. Window's programs and files and Ubuntu's /swap and /home will be located on a separated HDD. /tmp will go into RAM.

I thought on giving up to 28GB to Vista's c:\ and the rest to Ubuntu's "/".
Is there something special to consider on blocksize or partion boundaries? Will ext4 be suitable for the SDD?

Are the operating systems as intelligent to cover that issues for themselves so that i handle the SSD while installing like HDDs before?

Thank you!
