is there any way to edit or change the default boot screen? i really want to change it. please help.:KS

Well if you want to change the background to the loading screen before the login window and the background to the login window you can do that by changing the images in the follow folder:

/usr/share/images/xsplash

yes, i already changed the usplash image. and i used copy paste to change it to /usr/share/images/xsplash. it already worked, but i didn't know that the same directory is used to change the login screen. i read a thread saying that the login screen on xubuntu 9.10 can't be changed unlike previous xubuntu. is it true? if not, can somebody teach me how to change it?
