I have dell inspiron 1525 laptop.
It had windows vista installed and I tried installing Ultimate Ubuntu it worked fine but when I tried updating windows vista some error popped up ...so I shut it down and now my laptop won't start
It say something like
Loading grub 1.5
unable to load grub
error 17
I tried reinstalling but it won't detect any hard disk also vista is not able to detect any hard disk and gives some error during installation... but Ubuntu LIVE CD works just fine ...
It shows everything I mean partition and run everything including movies, song n stuff...
I am really stuck plz sum1 help me out
