I have an HP 4GB USB drive formatted as Fat32. I have used both USB-creator and unetbootin with the same error upon booting: BOOT ERROR

My system is a atom based desktop, I have seen some others having this issue with no resolution. Putting in a SATA optical drive is a no go, I need to be able to boot from USB. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you told BIOS that your USB drive is your first hard disk?
Another problem might be that your downloaded iso does not pass MD5SUM.

I have not figured out how to get my .iso onto my USB drive so that I can use it to install. I want to install the edubuntu 9.10. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to do this.

thanks

You can use usb-creator while booting from the Live CD or you can download UNetbootin for either Ubuntu or Wwindows to make a Live USB.
