ns3 installation

helo friends i am using amd64 ubuntu karmic..

i am trying to install ns3 in it

however once i start the build process..both the CPU are utilised to a 100 percent and after around building 1010 files out of 1050 the machine just powers off

i tried doing a memtest..the same thing is happenin over there also..the machine simply powers down before completing the test..

can some pne help me to get out of this problem

thanx for no input but here is how i resolved it for future references

i tweaked the build.py file so that it does not start ./waf at one go

then i disabled the debug mode and configured waf

incase someone can help me in tellin me how to redirect whatever is happening on terminal screen into a txt file i can upload that file

please dont tell me the |,> redirects cause they are only redirecting the outputs...

i need to give the screen dump here so that it is better understood

please i have also problem with intallation of ns on ubuntu
this the firs time i use ubuntu and ns3 also
trying to install it using the commands
this msg appears "Commands non trouvable" i need your help please

pls provide me with detailed steps to install ns3.10 in ubuntu9.10 . also pls specify the changes and how to make them...

go to software centre and search for gns3 it is in there

well I think you should post in the "ns-3-users" group in google groups
it the best place to post ur ns3 problems in ;)

but u should see the installation part of the ns3 "tutorial" you can download it from the official site of ns3 nsnam.org
its easy just follow the steps
