can't find classic desktop mode

Hi all!
I installed UNR a couple of days ago. However, I think I prefer the look of the classic ubuntu desktop! I have read that there was a way to switch to the classic desktop in preferences but the option isn't there for me! As I mentioned, I am pretty new to ubuntu, so if you could give me a hint of where to find it, I would really appreciate it!

Install the "gnome" and "gdm" packages and you should be good to go! :)

It actually won't let me install gnome, for some reason! (gdm I had already but updated anyway). It also says that if I install gnome that it will uninstall gnome bluetooth?
