The problem is screen tearing in Ubuntu. Watching any video with fast sequence or when I move windows on the desktop with mouse I notice it also. Otherwisely the performance is great and even 1080p .MKV video run with XBMC.

I have tried both 32bit and 64bit 9.10 Ubuntu. I have tried with my 19" screen and with my 40" full hd TV, with DVI-hdmi cable and hdmi cable. I have tried with the proprietary 185 nvdia driver (which ubuntu installed allmost automatically) and I also managed to install the newest driver downloaded from nvidias homepage to the 32bit version.

The only good thing is that the board cannot be broken as everything works just perfectly in windows XP and there is absolutely no tearing even with 1080p using media player classic which supports the hardware video encoding for the full hd etc. videos.

Any cure for this problem?
