al salam O alaikum...
First, Am I allowed to speak in arabic in here? :)
Anyway, here's the problem:
I have VMWare and I want to install Ubuntu 9.10 using it,..
So, I wanted to download it from the website: www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download
And I couldn't, because it's so large (689MB) and my connection is too slow (Dialup 56k modem) ...
and it doesn't support resuming, so I can't download it...
It took me 7 hours just to download the first 100 MB !!!:o:o
can someone please seperate it into 4-5 parts so I can download it?
And thanks...

Worse case scenario you can request to get the CD sent to you for free.

Yes Free, look below the line for ordering cd dvd's to request a cd I think it is still available, I have one myself. You may have to wait a little time for it.

Well, I registered at their site, and requested a CD,...
It needs atleast 4-6 weeks to be delivered..
Just in case they don't deliver me the CD, can someone seperate it? or it's "unseperateable"?
Regards...

Thanks, mhmdfoss...
Actually downloading from a torrent was the first thing I thought about...
But, there's a problem.
The UAE university has blocked connections which are using it's proxy from using torrents.
How Cruel!! :(

Alsalam alikom xShadoWx
I have got the ISO and I am putting it into pieces, I plan to upload it to DropBox.com, is that ok with you?
If not, then we can try ghost.cc or something?
let me know which one you prefer most.
