hi,
I had problem with my window manager (I think). when I maximize a window the titlebar will be gone.
I tried other window manager, but it's just the same.
I think I accidently remove a library from package manager when I was trying some testing packages
please help me what should I do
thanks

I found out that I installed ubuntu-netbook-remix by mistake in my laptop.
please help, I read other threats and didn't help. I do metacity --replace and other window manager but it didn't work.
I should add this, when I open an aplication it forced to be maximized.
please help.

Have you tried going into synaptic and uninstalling ubuntu-netbook-remix desktop? I hope it would be as simple as that. Or, maybe even down and dirty to mark for reinstallation the ubuntu-desktop and that might write over it again. Or... maybe you have installed the NameBar Applet. Hope you can get it cleared without having to reinstall the entire thing.
FWIW, half of the fun of Ubuntu for me is the reinstalling to configure it to my flavor. Maybe I'm just sick like that.
