Hi,
I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 64bit. The problem I'm having is that I've set my panel background to a solid colour, very transparent. However, things like the clock, windows list, etc, all retain an old theme - a graphic used.

How do I get all my panel items to have the same background, and not use an old theme background?

Cheers,
SS

I use gnome-color-chooser for doing this.
First of all I take a screenshot of a selection of the panel with shutter.
Then link to that screenshot.png in gnome-color-chooser.

after 148354

or go into your ~/.themes/name_of_your_theme folder and, find and rename panel-bg.png
