Hi All,

I've got a laptop with Ubuntu 9.10 and Win7 in separate partitions. Any way I can set up a shared folder between the two? I installed Samba but I didn't see how it worked. I did some googling and searching in the Ubuntu forums but didn't see anything on this particular problem. Lots of info on network sharing, but nothing on how to share if Ubuntu and Win7 exist on the same hard drive.

Thanks!

On the same HD you need a NTFS partition for both to read. If you need to shrinkW7 use it's disk manager, and use the onboard gparted on a live cd top resize the Ubuntu.

You could also just use a external HD with a NTFS partition to do the same or a thumb drive.
