I've been putting off doing the annoying part of my taxes. This year, I can't do my schedule D by hand because it would take too long and I'd probably make some mistakes along the way. My brokerage gave me a .TXF file that I can theoretically use in some software to generate my schedule D automatically, but I can't seem to find any that does just that. TurboTax seems to be rather too expensive to buy just to format number of pages of data one time; I have no interest in any of the other functions.
Does anyone know if there are any other software options out there?
