Hey there,
I was going to post this the other day but it somehow slipped my mind. I just want to add that Ubuntu also came second in the LiveCD category after the famous knoppix.

To many this might not seem like much but when I was a complete noob and did not know anything about linux distributions, linuxquestions.org was one was to find out more information about the various distributions in the Linux World today.

It was interesting to me how clear cut the winners were in many categories and that the winners were the apps I use. Suggests that Linux is maturing and settling on certain specific apps/projects.
