Old school vegetable game

Hi,

I was recollecting the age old glory days of gaming... I think it must have been 1994 (though I could be a couple of years out) when my dad brought me home a brown bag containing a large floppy disc, it was given to him by a coworker so it may have have already been old.
Unfortunately I can't can't recollect the game's name BUT from what I can remember you played a beetroot in a land of vegetables... which of course, for some reason, was under threat! I can't remember much other than that and it was a fun platform game.

Does this ring any bells with anyone?? My online searches are completely fruit(/vegetable)less!
