Hi,
I want to know the notification position in Ubuntu 9.10 that is farther from top right of screen against 9.04 , is a bug or is a normal case? If it's a normal case so what's its reason?
Thanks

It was a design decision -
notifications now have 2 different categories - "fixed height" and "variable height"
only 1 of each can display simultaneously and the variable ones always
leave room above them for a fixed height one.
examples of fixed height: volume, brightness
examples of variable height: Instant Messages
the reasoning behind all of this is because you don't want new notifications
to slide old ones around why you are still trying to read them.
