Yesterday I upgraded my PC from Ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10, then I upgraded from 8.10 to 9.04. Everything worked well and it took about 2 hours for each upgrade. This morning I installed all software package updates to 9.04 and then I attempted to upgrade from 9.04 to 9.10. When I click the upgrade button in upgrade manager the computer just sits there doing nothing for 5 to 7 minutes, then I get a message that says "Could not download the release notes" and it says I should check my network connection. I just downloaded all of the software updates, so I know the network connection is working. Why can't it download the release notes?
