I've been through a lot of trouble with torrent clients and it looks like far from over.
I tried transmission, qt, one or two other bt-clients and now I stick with KTorrent.
The trouble is that as soon as I try to use any other computer than my laptop the
system of those computers gets corrupted right after install or 1 or two days later.
It is like somebody sabotages my computer to force me to use my laptop.
Today I tried using Debian and I had to use textmode to install 'cause it wouldn't
work otherwise and now I can't even use synaptic in gnome. It won't take my
password. UTorrent in windows sucks because the upload is too slow but at least
these machines work for now linux has been only trouble.
Everything that was hyped by fanboys on the internet about linux and stability
is not true.
The only reason for linux is that it uploads faster than utorrent on winxp.
If I could afford the money for the high energy costs I would use several winxp
machines and split my collection to them that would save me a lot of trouble.

I had to be a computer genius to work those machines.
Like telling by one look on the computer with the monitor turned off: "uhm, well you
gotta add some cache in the config of your browser, your BIOS is in need of an
upgrade 'cause this version won't support the faulty RAM and the kernel modules
cause a conflict with your hardware ... that's fixed in five min."

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you're saying. Can you make it more simple?

And you sorta went all off-topic.
